Investment Manager
Amherst Advisory & Management, LLC (AAM) serves as the investment manager to related private investment partnerships and, in conjunction with the General Partner (an affiliate of AAM): (1) formulates the investment objectives for the partnership, which objectives include active management practices in regard to residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS); and (2) directs and manages the investment and reinvestment of the partnerships’ RMBS in accordance with its governing documents.

Collateral Manager
AAM also acts as collateral manager for institutional clients that invest in RMBS. AAM’s collateral management services provide transparency and accountability for institutional investor clients with regard to new securitization structures as well as existing RMBS holdings (such as the enforcement of mortgage repurchase obligations (put-backs) and other RMBS investor rights). These services include employing active management practices designed to improve diligence, surveillance and transparency and to enforce RMBS bondholder rights. AAM’s effectiveness is enhanced through the utilization of the resources available throughout the Amherst family of companies, as well as throughout the utilization of third party service providers.
